Tim Cochren
AttorneyAfter receiving the coveted partnership offer at the largest transportation law firm in the United States, Tim decided to leave big law behind to join a smaller firm where he has the flexibility to focus on making a meaningful and positive impact in the lives and businesses of his clients. Tim grew up in Southern Indiana and understands the importance of hard work, honesty, practicality, and availability when serving his clients’ diverse legal needs. Tim promises to do what he says he will do when he says he will do it and to work hard to earn the trust his clients place in him.
Tim routinely represents individuals and businesses that have been injured by the negligent act of others. Tim believes people whose lives have been disrupted by serious injuries caused by someone else’s negligence deserve compassion, trusted guidance, and a strong advocate. Tim understands the American jury system is often the only tool his clients have to hold insurance companies and large corporations financially accountable. He is willing and prepared to take cases to trial when insurers or corporations refuse to agree to fair settlements and going to court serves his clients’ best interests. Tim cannot guarantee the results of any case, but he promises to provide you with constant communication throughout the process and that no one will work harder to get justice and value for your case.
In addition to assisting clients who have suffered from serious injuries, Tim is passionate about helping his clients and their families make informed decisions, achieve peace of mind, and avoid unnecessary costs and complexity when preparing their estate, business, and farm succession plans. In addition, Tim works with his clients and their families to complete a smooth and efficient transfer of property when a loved one passes away through the probate process
Tim also enjoys partnering with small and medium size business and non-profits to provide practical and cost-effective legal advice and guidance to help these businesses and non-profits achieve their goals and continue to provide value and services to their community. Tim routinely advises small and medium size businesses on structures and strategies to mitigate risk in their business and implementing strategies to achieve potential compliance costs and/or tax savings.
When Tim is not working or representing his clients in the courtroom, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Cassey, three-year-old son, and their new Bernese Mountain Dog, Winnie, on their little patch of heaven in Greene County, Indiana. Tim and his family enjoying spending time together hiking, fishing, camping, traveling and anything else that involves the outdoors. Tim is excited for the time when he will be able to coach and cheer on his son in whatever sports or activities he decides to pursue.
