Chris is a proud holder of a AAA Auto Club Membership card, and he likes to tell his life story with his license plates. 2BA SOLO (“Tuba solo”) is from his single days as a solo practitioner in downtown Columbus, a time when his wild nights were spent playing the tuba in local bands and orchestras. His performances on fourth street received scant applause and mixed critical reviews from family and friends. His next license plate, IOBJCT (“I Object”), found its perfect match in OVR RULD (“Overruled”) when he met and married his wife, Jin.

After ten years in trial work, T4XMAN (“Tax man”) describes his time working for the state on transactional, tax, and in-house representation of the BMV, Indiana’s second largest State tax collector. He led cost-cutting projects to keep BMV fees low and made certain that every penny, nickel and dime out of $1.4B collected in fees and taxes landed in the right spot among hundreds of state and local funds. He negotiated large and small contracts for government and private manufacturers and suppliers. Contracts, taxes, and trials: each case is a puzzle that he is eager to solve for his customers. The more challenging the better.
